Description

Dr. Cynthia Pridgen is an obstetrician-gynecologist with Prisma Health who provides comprehensive care for women across all stages of life. She cares for patients with a wide range of gynecologic needs, including annual wellness exams, evaluation and treatment of irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, and infertility, as well as preventive care and routine screenings. In obstetrics, she manages patients throughout pregnancy, providing prenatal care, labor and delivery services, and postpartum support. Dr. Pridgen has a strong clinical interest in combining traditional obstetrics and gynecology with a more holistic approach to care. She is currently pursuing a fellowship in integrative medicine, enhancing her ability to address the root causes of health concerns by considering the connection between mind, body, and spirit. This additional training allows her to offer patients a more comprehensive, education-focused approach to improving their overall well-being. She is also experienced in performing a variety of gynecologic surgical procedures and values the diversity of her specialty, which includes both office-based care and operative medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Pridgen enjoys cooking, exploring new recipes, and following football.
